Anthony A. Nuara, MD, PhD, combines personalized dermatologic care with a deeper understanding of the science behind skin disease. A Phoenix native, he is board-certified in Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery, with doctoral training in molecular microbiology and immunology and dermatology residency training at UT Southwestern.

His work extends from caring for patients to investigating new treatments, educating fellow physicians, and advising on dermatology therapeutics.

Clinical research

Experience as a principal investigator in clinical trials exploring treatments for eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, and other immune-mediated skin diseases—connecting scientific discovery with the challenges patients face every day.

Consulting & scientific advisory

Available for collaboration on clinical trial design, therapeutic strategy, and scientific communications, bringing the perspective of both a practicing dermatologist and an immunology researcher.

Translating complex science into practical clinical insight, with interests spanning emerging therapies, inflammatory skin disease, and the thoughtful use of dermatologic treatments.
